應禮中，初文。無緣者，緣見次科；下禮於上，故云合敬。下大小相敬中自說，故此指之。

Under those who should be paid homage: in the initial passage, "without conditions" means the conditions seen in the next section; juniors paying homage to seniors is therefore called "due respect." Because it is explained in detail below under seniors and juniors paying mutual respect, it is merely pointed out here.
