次科，《伽論》。地敷，義是長連不可動者。《多論》。床連席異，謂床上敷席也。中空絕者，準須相遠，方免譏過。論明俗女，俗士可知。

The next section, the Saṃghāvaśeṣa Commentary. Ground-spread mats are in principle continuous and cannot be moved. The Sarvāstivāda Vinaya Vibhāṣā. Continuous couches with different mats refers to spreading mats on top of couches. Having an empty gap between them must by principle keep them far apart to avoid the fault of ridicule. The treatise clarifies secular women; secular men can be known from this.
