The 'No offense' section is divided into five, separated by the character 'if.' First, having the same intention; second, for the sake of safeguarding; third, for the sake of admonition; fourth, one's own possession; fifth, an exception due to adversity. The note says that with state prohibitions at customs barriers, or hiding robes to spend the night apart from them, based on this adversity an exception is made; by analogy it decides [the case of] spending the night apart from one's robes, so it says that one does not incur an offense of maintaining them. If one engages in trade or commerce with prohibited goods, it is called stealing tax; other requisites for personal use are by analogy permitted to be hidden by oneself.
