Second: The Aniyata of an Open Place. (The country and offender are both the same as the previous precept; only the open place is the difference.) The first sentence indicates the name. The next sentence indicates that it is the same. The conditions for the offense are also four, merely changing the first to 'an open place', while the remaining three are entirely the same. Now we further distinguish their differences: 1. Difference in location, namely the two divisions of the precept; 2. Difference in what is done, namely capable of sexual intercourse or not capable of sexual intercourse; 3. Difference in what is spoken, the former being solely speech of sexual desire, the latter extending to coarse speech; 4. Difference in what is suspected, the former having three and the latter having two, all as in the Prātimokṣa.
