（《十誦》又云：「睡眠人、亂語人、憒閙人、入定人、瘂人、聾人、瘂聾人、狂人、亂心人、病壞心人、樹上比丘、白衣。如是等十二人，不成受戒足數。」）

(The Daśādhyāya also states: "A sleeping person, a delirious person, a confused and clamorous person, a person absorbed in meditation, a mute person, a deaf person, a deaf-mute person, an insane person, a person of scattered mind, a person whose mind is impaired by illness, a bhikṣu in a tree, a layperson—these twelve persons do not count toward the quorum for ordination.")
