「大德一心念！我某甲，今請大德為羯磨阿闍梨，願大德為我作羯磨阿闍梨。我依大德故，得受大戒，慈愍故。」（三請已。）

"Bhadanta, with single-minded attention! I, N.N., now request the bhadanta to be my karmācārya; may the bhadanta act as my karmācārya. Relying upon the bhadanta, I will obtain upasampadā, out of compassion." (After requesting three times:)
