大德一心念！我某甲，今請大德為羯磨阿闍梨，願大德為我作羯磨阿闍梨。我依大德故，得受大戒，慈愍故。（三說。彼應答言：）可爾。
"May the Venerable One be mindful of me! I, so-and-so, now request the Venerable One to be my karman ācārya. May the Venerable One act as my karman ācārya. Relying upon the Venerable One, I shall be able to receive upasampadā, out of compassion." (Three times. He should reply:) "It is well."
