攝時僧施法（時有比丘未分夏衣便去，後比丘分夏衣，不敢取去者分，諸比丘不知成分不？佛言：「成分，應相待，亦應囑授後人受夏衣分。」律言：若一比丘安居，大得僧夏安居衣物，彼比丘應作心念言：）此是我物。（其羯磨對首法，准同非時僧施，更無異，故不出。）

The procedure for appropriating in-season gifts given to the saṃgha (At that time, there was a bhikṣu who departed before the summer robes were divided, and subsequent bhikṣus dividing the summer robes did not dare take the share of the one who had left. The bhikṣus did not know whether his share was valid. The Buddha said: "His share is valid; you should wait for him, or he should instruct a successor to receive the summer robe share." The Vinaya states: If a single bhikṣu observes the retreat and receives a large amount of summer retreat robes and goods for the saṃgha, that bhikṣu should generate the thought:) "This is my property." (Its karman and face-to-face procedures correspond to those for out-of-season gifts to the saṃgha, with no differences, so they are not set forth here.)
