與依止羯磨法（若比丘癡無所知，多犯眾罪，共白衣雜住而相親附，不順佛法。佛言：「聽僧為作依止白四。」謂遣依止有德人住，不得稱方國土等作。此作及解，亦文如律。）

The Procedure for Imposing the Niśraya-karman (If a bhikṣu is foolish and knows nothing, frequently commits numerous offenses, lives mixed together with white-robed laypeople, being intimate with them, and does not comply with the Buddha's Dharma, the Buddha said: "I permit the saṃgha to perform the niśraya-jñapticaturtha for him." That is, sending him to live depending on a virtuous person; he may not act according to his own preference in regions and lands. The performance and revocation of this are also as in the text of the Vinaya.)
