3.35

汝今不見罪，汝所往之處，彼亦當舉汝罪，為汝作自言，不聽汝作阿㝹婆陀，不聽布薩自恣。如調馬師，惡馬難調，即合所繫韁杙棄之；汝比丘不自見罪，亦復如是，一切捨棄。汝所往之處，乃至不聽汝布薩自恣。（是人不應求聽，此即是聽。）

"You do not see your offense now. Wherever you go, they too shall bring up your offense, require a personal confession from you, not permit you to engage in anuvadita, and not permit you to participate in poṣadha or pravāraṇā. Just as a horse-tamer, when a vicious horse is difficult to train, abandons it along with the halter and post to which it is tied; you, bhikṣu, who do not see your own offense, are also just like this—cast aside in every respect. Wherever you go, you shall even not be permitted to participate in poṣadha or pravāraṇā." (This person should not seek permission; this [formula] is the very permission.)
