大德僧聽！今眾僧在某處作說戒堂。誰諸長老忍僧在某處作說戒堂者默然，誰不忍者說。僧已忍聽在某處作說戒堂竟。僧忍，默然故，是事如是持。

"May the venerable saṃgha listen! The community of monks now establishes a poṣadha hall at [such-and-such] a place. Whichever venerables consent to the saṃgha establishing a poṣadha hall at [such-and-such] a place, remain silent; whoever does not consent, speak! The saṃgha has already consented to establish a poṣadha hall at [such-and-such] a place. Because the saṃgha consents, it is silent; thus do we hold this matter."
