大德僧聽！此某甲比丘得乾痟病，欲人間行，有糞掃臥具重，今從僧乞作新臥具羯磨。若僧時到，僧忍聽，僧與此某甲比丘作新臥具羯磨。白如是。

'Let the saṃgha, bhadantas, listen! This bhikṣu so-and-so suffers from consumption and wishes to travel among people, and he has rag bedding that is heavy; he now requests from the saṃgha the karman for making a new bedding. If the saṃgha's time has arrived, and the saṃgha approves and listens, the saṃgha will perform for this bhikṣu so-and-so the karman for making a new bedding. Such is the jñapti.'
