大德僧聽！此某甲比丘羸老，不能無絡囊盛鉢無杖而行，今從僧乞杖絡囊。若僧時到，僧忍聽，與某甲比丘杖絡囊。白如是。

'Let the saṃgha, bhadantas, listen! This bhikṣu so-and-so is frail and aged, unable to walk without a net-bag to carry his bowl and without a staff; he now requests from the saṃgha a staff and net-bag. If the saṃgha's time has arrived, and the saṃgha approves and listens, [it will] grant to bhikṣu so-and-so a staff and net-bag. Such is the jñapti.'
