制依止阿闍梨行法（若有新受戒比丘尼，和尚尼命終，無人教授；以不被教授故，乃至如婆羅門聚會法。佛言：「自今已去，聽有阿闍梨，聽有弟子。阿闍梨於弟子當如女想，弟子於阿闍梨如母想，展轉相教，展轉相奉事。如是於佛法中，倍增益廣流布。」當作是請，具儀言：）

Rules for the conduct of a niśraya-ācāryikā. (When a newly ordained bhikṣuṇī's upādhyāyikā had passed away, there was no one to instruct her; because she was not instructed, things deteriorated up to the manner of a brāhmaṇa gathering. The Buddha said: 'From now on, I allow [nuns] to have an ācāryikā and to have disciples. An ācāryikā should regard her disciple as her daughter, and the disciple should regard her ācāryikā as her mother, mutually instructing and serving one another. In this way, they will increasingly flourish and widely spread in the Buddha's Dharma.' The request should be made with proper decorum, saying:)
