大德僧眾不見比丘尼眾有見、聞、疑罪可舉。語比丘尼眾「如法自恣，謹慎莫放逸！」（作此告時，尼眾皆合掌言：）頂戴持。（若比丘尼眾即日自恣，疲極，當明日自恣。若二眾病、不滿、不和，當遣使問訊；若不爾者，突吉羅。）

"The venerable community of monks does not see the community of nuns to have any offense based on seeing, hearing, or suspicion that warrants reproof. They say to the community of nuns: 'Conduct your pravāraṇā in accordance with the Dharma; be vigilant and not heedless!'" (When this announcement is made, the community of nuns all place their palms together and say:) "We shall respectfully uphold it." (If the community of nuns, conducting pravāraṇā on that very day, is utterly exhausted, they should conduct pravāraṇā the next day. If either community is ill, lacks a quorum, or is in discord, a messenger should be dispatched to inquire after them; failing to do so constitutes a duṣkṛta.)
