與自言治毘尼法（若比丘尼以天眼清淨，見比丘尼犯戒，不取自言，牽出門外。佛言：「不應如是。若於異時，亦不應如是。令彼伏罪然後與罪，不應不伏罪而與罪也。」）

The procedure for granting the settlement by voluntary confession (pratijñākāraka-vinaya): (If a bhikṣuṇī, with pure divine vision, sees a bhikṣuṇī violate a precept, and without obtaining her voluntary confession, drags her outside the gate, the Buddha said: "It should not be like this. Even at another time, it should not be like this. One must cause her to admit the offence and only then assign the offence; one must not assign an offence without her admitting the offence.")
