1.26

總中四：一、舉數，二、「若受」下勸誦其文。於中先明不誦有損。「非菩薩」者，失現行菩提心也。「非種子」者，乖菩提心種子也。又前失位，後失行也。後舉佛自誦，彰誦有益。三、勸學其義，謂舉三世齊學勸令受學。四、「已略說」下結說勸持，並可知。

Under the general, there are four: 1. Citing the number; 2. From 'if one receives' onward, encouraging the recitation of the text. Therein, it first shows that not reciting brings detriment. 'Not a bodhisattva' means losing active bodhicitta. 'Not a seed' means deviating from the seed of bodhicitta. Alternatively, the former is losing status, and the latter is losing practice. Later, citing the Buddha reciting them himself reveals that recitation brings benefit. 3. Encouraging the study of their meaning, which means citing the equal study throughout the three periods of time to encourage receiving and studying them. 4. From 'I have briefly spoken' onward, concluding the exposition to encourage upholding; both can be understood.
