第二、立名辨相中，先以義料簡，後釋本文。初中十重，略作十門：一、釋名，二、明犯因，三、明犯具，四、顯犯境，五、造境自他，六、自作教他，七、犯相始終，八、明犯輕重，九、明諸部相攝，十、明攝三聚。

Second, under establishing names and distinguishing characteristics, first there is analytical appraisal through principles, followed by explaining the root text. In the former, regarding the ten major, ten headings are briefly established: 1. Explaining the names; 2. Clarifying the causes of offenses; 3. Clarifying the instruments of offenses; 4. Revealing the objects of offenses; 5. Objects committed by oneself or others; 6. Committing oneself or instructing others; 7. The beginning and end of the characteristics of offenses; 8. Clarifying the gravity of offenses; 9. Clarifying mutual inclusion among the various divisions; 10. Clarifying the inclusion of the three clusters.
