五、闕緣者，闕初緣得小罪，以起想等故；闕第二緣中罪，以境是實故。若闕三、四，無罪可知。

Fifth, missing conditions: missing the first condition incurs a minor offense, because one gave rise to the perception and so forth; missing the second condition incurs a medium offense, because the object is real. If the third or fourth condition is missing, there is no offense, as can be understood.
