「皆是阿羅漢」等者，有十六句，示現聲聞功德成就故；皆於阿耨多羅三藐三菩提不退轉等者，有十三句，示現菩薩功德成就故。
"As for 'all were arhats' and so forth, there are sixteen phrases, which demonstrate the fulfillment of virtues of the śrāvakas; as for 'all were non-retrograde from anuttarā samyaksaṃbodhi' and so forth, there are thirteen phrases, which demonstrate the fulfillment of virtues of the bodhisattvas."
