「若不具支至心縱逸處故」者，舉頌答。應作不作，及不應作反作。依時食者，以能遮止恒時食故。一便憶自受近住律儀，二能於世間深生厭離。餘文可知。

"If one does not possess the limbs... because it is an occasion for mental laxity" cites the verse in reply. What should be done is not done, and what should not be done is done instead. Eating according to the proper time is because it can stop eating at all times: first, one easily remembers that one has taken the upavāsa restraint oneself; second, one can produce profound revulsion toward the world.
