15.28

「若爾前佛至無減前過」者，難總發家。若爾，前迦葉佛等及所度生已涅槃者，後釋迦佛等於前佛等既不發得別解律儀，如何尸羅無減前佛過？

"If so, former Buddhas […] there would be no fault of decrease relative to former [Buddhas]" is an objection to the school of collective generation. If so, since former Buddhas such as Kāśyapa Buddha and the sentient beings liberated by them have already entered nirvāṇa, and subsequent [beings] under Śākyamuni Buddha and others do not generate and obtain prātimokṣa restraint with respect to those former Buddhas and so forth, how is it that the moral discipline does not incur the fault of decrease relative to former Buddhas?
