「於多分勝至高處是何」者，問。如於他人多分勝法，謂己少劣，卑慢可成，有高處故。無劣我慢類，高處是何而起慢耶？

"Toward what is mostly superior [...] where is the high point?" is the inquiry. In the case of thinking oneself only slightly inferior toward the mostly superior qualities of another, the conceit of inferiority can be established because there is a point of haughtiness. In the class of conceit 'none is inferior to me,' where is the high point from which conceit arises?
