「此言非難至見亦應爾」者，眼見家答。此言非難，如共許識是能了別，然無了者、了用不同，即識名了。見亦應爾，即眼名見，無別見者、見用不同。

"This statement is not a valid objection […] seeing should also be like this" is the reply by the proponent of the eye seeing. This statement is not a valid objection. It is like how consciousness is commonly accepted as that which discerns, yet there is no separate cognizer distinct from the function of cognizing—the consciousness itself is called cognition. Seeing should also be like this: the eye itself is called seeing, and there is no separate seer distinct from the function of seeing.
