「若爾便違至不減諸根」者，前師出聖教相違。若言色界無鼻、舌者，便違經說。彼色界中無身支缺，不減色根。

Regarding the passage: "If so, it would contradict […] having no deficiency of faculties," the previous master points out a contradiction with sacred scripture. If one says that the nose and tongue do not exist in Rūpadhātu, this contradicts what the sūtras say: in that Rūpadhātu, there is no defect of bodily limbs, and no deficiency of physical faculties.
