「如是五通至無數世界」者，釋第八、第九、第十句。一約竪明寬狹，境唯自、下，不通上地，勢力劣故。二約傍顯作用寬狹，如文可知。

On the passage beginning with "These five supernormal knowledges" up to "innumerable worlds": This explains the eighth, ninth, and tenth lines. First, vertically speaking of breadth and narrowness, their objects are solely one's own level and lower levels, not extending to higher levels, because their strength is inferior. Second, horizontally manifesting the breadth and narrowness of their activity, it can be understood from the text.
