「具五支言至故無有過」者，論主通經。具足五支言，就於一地前後而說，非一剎那，故無有過。論主意朋經部，故順彼解此中絕救。

"The statement about being complete with five limbs ... therefore there is no fault": The author of the śāstra clarifies the sūtra. The statement about being complete with five limbs is spoken in reference to successive moments in a single stage, not to a single kṣaṇa; therefore, there is no fault. The intention of the author of the śāstra is to side with the Sautrāntikas, and so he conforms to their explanation, leaving this matter without further defense.
