「云何待過去諸表至能生無表」者，說一切有部救。如受戒時，最後念表，待前表力方生無表。最後念聲，生名亦爾。

On "How can the unmanifest be produced dependent on past manifest actions?": this is the Sarvāstivāda's defense. Just as when taking the precepts, the manifest action of the final moment depends on the power of the preceding manifest actions to produce the unmanifest action (avijñapti); the sound of the final moment producing a word is also like this.
