「若爾同類因應本無而有」者，此下通第四本無今有難。此即敘難。《婆沙》云「則應無因而有因，亦應無果而有果，便壞自宗。」

"If so, the cause of the same type would exist where it previously did not": below this, he resolves the fourth objection regarding existing now where it previously did not. Here he sets out the objection. The Mahāvibhāṣā states: "Then there would be a cause where there was no cause, and there would be an effect where there was no effect, which would destroy one's own tenet."
