論「若不爾者至諸煩惱滅」，此反釋也。若爾，不如有部隨繫事量各別擇滅者，即有此失。

The treatise says, "If it were not so … the cessation of all afflictions": this is the reductio. If it were so, and not as the Sarvāstivāda holds—where there are distinct cessations through deliberation according to the quantity of bound entities—then this error would result.
