10.25

論「此亦應同至無明染心」，准前遮遣者，若諸煩惱皆是無明者，一結、縛、隨眠、漏、軛等中，不應別說無明結等；二亦不應與見、貪、嗔等相應，見等即是無明，不應自相應故；三或亦應說無明染心。

The treatise says: "This too should be refuted similarly to the previous ... ignorance taints the mind." As in the previous refutations: if all afflictions were ignorance, first, among the fetters, bonds, latent biases, outflows, yokes, and the like, the fetter of ignorance and so on should not be mentioned separately; second, it should not be associated with views, attachment, anger, and the like, because views and the rest would themselves be ignorance, and a dharma cannot be associated with itself; third, or else it should also be said that ignorance taints the mind.
