論「從自分生至從極微生」，勝論答。即芽有麁色、細色乃至極微，從極微生細色、生麁色也。

The treatise says: "From their own parts … arise from atoms." The Vaiśeṣikas answer. That is to say, a sprout has coarse form, subtle form, down to atoms; from atoms subtle form is produced, and [from subtle form] coarse form is produced.
