13.86

論「又若無無表至語等無故」，第六證也。八支中有正語、正業、正命三支。在定之中無語等三，若無無表，何法名為正語、業等？

On the treatise's statement, "Furthermore, if there were no non-information ... because speech and the like are absent": this is the sixth proof. Among the eight factors [of the noble path], there are the three factors of right speech, right action, and right livelihood. In meditative absorption, speech and the other two are absent. If there were no non-information, what dharma could be designated as right speech, action, and so forth?
