21.35

論「後當略論纏煩惱垢攝者」，生下文也。下明纏、垢，先辨其纏，故言「且」也。自下有兩行半頌，第五明纏。前一行頌出纏名體，後一頌半明纏從生。

On the Śāstra's words, "Later we shall briefly discuss those subsumed as entanglements and defilements of affliction": this introduces the text below. Below, in explaining entanglements and defilements, it first analyzes entanglements; hence it says "first". From here down, there are two and a half stanzas that fifthly explain entanglements. The first stanza sets forth the names and substantial entities of the entanglements, and the latter stanza and a half explains what the entanglements arise from.
