論「性相違故至能害怨命」，通也。雖同世間，性相違故。如同是人，上怨肩上，雖依怨肩能害怨命。世第一法與異生性，雖同世間，依異生性能捨異生。故《正理》云「性相違故，依彼能捨，如上怨肩而害怨命。」

The Śāstra states: "Because their natures are contrary... up to: able to destroy the enemy's life." This is the resolution. Although both are mundane, their natures are mutually contrary. Just as, though being equally humans, one climbs onto an enemy's shoulders and, though relying on the enemy's shoulders, can destroy the enemy's life. The worldly supreme dharmas and the state of being an ordinary person, though both mundane, can abandon the ordinary person based on the ordinary person. Hence the Nyāyānusāra states: "Because their natures are contrary, relying on it one is able to abandon it, like mounting an enemy's shoulders and destroying the enemy's life."
