On the Śāstra's statement: "In the stage of the path of cultivation... the factors of awakening are said to be predominant": The Nyāyānusāra says: "Or here, because one abandons the nine grades of afflictions and repeatedly awakens, the meaning of the factors of awakening is predominant."
