論「無學雜修至與練根同」，明無學雜修也。「無間道未來鈍八利九」者，不修他心智故。「解脫道中鈍九利十」者，修他心故。

The passage of the śāstra from “Mixed cultivation in the non-learner” up to “identical to the refinement of faculties” explains mixed cultivation by a non-learner. “In the uninterrupted path, dull [faculties cultivate] eight and sharp [faculties cultivate] nine in the future” because they do not cultivate knowledge of another's mind. “In liberation paths, dull [faculties cultivate] nine and sharp [faculties cultivate] ten” because they cultivate [knowledge of] another's mind.
