論「別法令心至非體即心」，有部答也。即心專一境，由別心所能令心王於一境轉名為等持，非體即心。

The Śāstra states: "A distinct dharma causes the mind... its entity is not itself the mind." This is the Sarvāstivādin's answer. The mind's exclusive focus on a single intentional object is called concentration (samādhi) because a distinct mental factor can cause the primary mind to proceed upon a single object; its entity is not itself the primary mind.
