29.150

論「若於此中至徵難亦然」，破能了別也。若先了色、後了我者，了時別故，我應異色。如黃異青、前異後等。乃至法境兩關徵難，其義亦然。

On the Śāstra's statement: "If herein […] the questioning and challenge are also like this": Refuting that the cognisers are distinct. If one first cognises form and later cognises the self, because the times of cognition are distinct, the self should be different from form, just as yellow is different from blue, or before is different from after. Up to the object of phenomena (dharmāyatana), the questioning and challenging through both alternatives are likewise so in meaning.
