29.165

論「又世尊說至境必同故」，論主更重引經證法外無我，我非所識也。達知是慧，我非達知，非慧境也。慧、識境同，證非所識也。

The treatise says: "Moreover, the World-Honoured One said... because their domains must be identical." The author of the treatise again cites scripture to prove that there is no self outside of phenomena (dharmas) and that the self is not an object of consciousness. Penetrative knowledge is wisdom (prajñā); the self is not penetratively known, so it is not the domain of wisdom. The domains of wisdom and consciousness are identical, which proves that [the self] is not an object of consciousness.
