29.21

論「若應引惡至治嗔等故」，若以是倒應引惡者，理亦不然，能治嗔、害及貪等故。

The Śāstra states: "If they should induce unwholesome... up to: counteracting ill-will and so forth." If it is argued that because they are distortions they must induce what is bad, the reasoning is also incorrect, because they can counteract ill-will, harm, greed, and so forth.
