論「若待別覺至得有差別」，破轉計也。若謂待別覺故識生有異，生覺別因，同生識難。

On the Śāstra's statement: "If it depends on a different cognition [...] can there be differentiation": This refutes their shifted position. If they claim that because it depends on a different cognition (buddhi), the arising of consciousness differs, then the distinct cause producing cognition incurs the same objection as that regarding the arising of consciousness.
