論「貪愛彼故」，論主答也。有二答，此文初也。以貪愛我者，即貪愛取蘊，故知取蘊即所為我。

On the Śāstra's statement: "Because one craves for them": The author of the treatise answers. There are two answers, and this text is the first. Because one who craves for the self is craving for the appropriated aggregates, one knows that the appropriated aggregates are the self for whose sake [one acts].
