論「唯有無覆至法前後得」，此明有覆無記色也。如文可解。此即初禪、中間靜慮，染心所起身、語表故。自餘諸地更無此業。欲界唯身、邊二見有覆無記不能發業，上地無發業心。

[On the Śāstra's statement:] "Only non-defiled [… of a state prior and subsequent possession]," this clarifies defiled-neutral form. It is understandable according to the text. This is because it is bodily and vocal intimation originated by a defiled mind in the first dhyāna and intermediate dhyāna. Throughout all other stages there is no longer this karma. In the desire realm, only the two views of self-view and extreme-view are defiled-neutral and cannot initiate karma; in the higher stages there is no mind that initiates karma.
