4.34

論「言或得者至是故言或」，釋頌「或得」二字。於諸行中，或與得俱起，謂有情法；或與得不俱，謂無情法，故言或也。

On the Śāstra's statement, "The word 'or' in 'or acquisition'... therefore it says 'or'": this explains the two words "or acquisition" in the verse. Among conditioned phenomena, some arise together with acquisition, namely phenomena pertaining to sentient beings; and some do not arise together with acquisition, namely phenomena pertaining to non-sentient things; therefore it says "or".
