5.131

論「彼體一故至無墮落時」，論主破也。其箭之上行德持箭，初發、將墮其體是一，後無別障往趣餘方，先急、後緩至時分位不同，應不得有。又應畢竟無墮落時。初發、將墮其行一故。

The treatise says: "Because its entity is unitary, up to: there would be no time of falling." The author of the treatise refutes it. The quality of saṃskāra upon the arrow sustains the arrow: at the initial discharge and when about to fall, its entity is unitary. Since there is no other obstacle toward another direction, the difference in states over time—fast at first and slow later—should not be possible. Furthermore, it should never fall at all, because the saṃskāra at the initial discharge and when about to fall is unitary.
