論「《品類足》至所感異熟」，此文第二《品類足論》證。《品類足論》有三文證。此文第一，見所斷法為因證也。謂諸染法既竝皆以見斷為因，聖人身中染法亦是諸染法故，故知亦用見斷為因。

The treatise says: "The *Prakaraṇapāda* [...] the maturation (vipāka) induced by it." This text is the second, the proof from the *Prakaraṇapāda-śāstra*. In the *Prakaraṇapāda-śāstra* there are three textual proofs. This passage is the first, serving as proof that phenomena abandoned by seeing are the cause. Namely, since all defiled phenomena uniformly take what is abandoned by seeing as their cause, and the defiled phenomena in the noble one's stream of being are also among all defiled phenomena, we know that they also take what is abandoned by seeing as their cause.
