從此第二，明大三災，論云：「前說火災焚燒世界，餘災亦爾，如應當知何者為餘？今當具辨。」頌曰：
From this, secondly, is the explanation of the three major calamities. The treatise states: 'It was said earlier that the calamity of fire burns up the world; the remaining calamities are likewise, as appropriate. Which are the remaining ones? Now we shall analyze them in detail.' The verse says:
