13.74

相應彼相應者，上相應是標，下相應是釋。謂彼前無貪等五，餘心、心所自性非善，與彼相應而得善名，名相應善，如雜藥水。

"By association, what is associated with them": the first 'association' is the designation, and the second 'association' is the explanation. That is, other minds and mental factors besides those previous five such as non-greed are not wholesome by intrinsic nature; but because they are associated with them, they obtain the designation of wholesome. They are called wholesome by association, like water mixed with medicine.
