15.105

及怖害違憂者，第二、由怖，非人驚怖，遂致心狂。第三、由害，謂惱非人，非人瞋故，傷害支節，能令心狂。第四、由違，大種乖違，能令心狂。第五、由憂，謂喪親愛，愁憂發狂，如婆私吒等。

[Regarding the phrase] 'and through fright, injury, disturbance, and grief': Second, through fright: being terrified by non-humans thereupon results in madness of mind. Third, through injury: that is, annoying non-humans, and because of their wrath, they injure one's bodily parts, which can cause madness of mind. Fourth, through disturbance: discord among the primary elements can cause madness of mind. Fifth, through grief: that is, losing loved ones and going mad from sorrow and grief, like Vāsiṣṭhī and others.
